SELF CLEANING DISC BOWL SEPARATORS

SELF Cleaning Disc Bowl Separators, Disc Bowl Separators, Industrial Disc Bowl Separators, Centrifugal Disc Bowl Separators,

Sharp Separation Technologies is a leading manufacturer of self-cleaning disc bowl separators, known for their advanced Sharp Disc Stack Separators. These separators are specifically designed to efficiently separate liquid-liquid mixtures with fine solids.

Key Features of Sharp Disc Stack Separators:

• Vertical Disc Stack Rotation: The separator operates with a vertically rotating disc stack, which is crucial for the separation process. The conical disc stack is securely fixed inside the bowl, ensuring stability and precision during operation.
• Efficient Separation Process: The mixture of two immiscible liquids, along with fine solid particles, is fed into the separator through the top of the stationary feed tubes. As the bowl rotates at high speed, it generates a significant amount of centrifugal force, effectively separating the immiscible liquids. The separated liquids are discharged through two distinct outlet ports located at the top, while the fine solids settle inside the bowl.
• Advanced Self-Cleaning Mechanism (SELF):While the separator is in operation, the bowl’s sliding mechanism opens through a hydraulic system, allowing the accumulated fine solids to be discharged through solid ports in the bowl. This self-cleaning feature reduces downtime and enhances the overall efficiency of the separation process.
• High-Efficiency Drive System: The bowl is driven by a motor connected to the bowl shaft, with energy transmission occurring through worm and worm wheels or belt drives. This design minimizes energy losses, making the drive system more efficient than other conventional methods. The drive motor is operated through a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programmed control panel, which also provides high-speed indication and control.
• Reduced Lubrication and Maintenance: The design of the Sharp Disc Stack Separators eliminates the need for gears, clutches, and additional belts, which significantly reduces the consumption of lubricating oil and overall maintenance requirements. This results in a more cost-effective and reliable operation.
